April 24, 2020: The Governor of the State of Michigan issued Executive Order 2020-59 which extends the Stay Home requirements through May 15, 2020. This order does not substantially change the manner in which FEDCO has been and will continue to operate as an essential business.
April 9, 2020: The Governor of the State of Michigan issued Executive Order 2020-42 which extends the Stay Home requirements through April 30, 2020. This order also clarifies what constitutes an essential business and how such businesses may operate. FEDCO will continue to operate its essential business activities to support our customers and maintain the global drinking water infrastructure in accordance with this Order.
March 23, 2020: FEDCO operations in Michigan are required to follow the State of Michigan Executive Order No. 2020-21 issued March 23, 2020. This order allows essential businesses to operate through April 13, 2020, with sufficient staffing to continue operations after which full operations may be resumed. As a supplier of equipment critical to operate and maintain drinking water infrastructure around the world, FEDCO’s Michigan headquarters maintains essential staffing to meet the needs of our customers including supply of spare parts. Our international sales and support teams remain in full operation. The Executive Order may be extended, however, FEDCO will continue essential operations.

March 16, 2020: Starting March 16, 2020, eligible FEDCO team members are telecommuting. Our sales and service teams utilize email, mobile telecommunication, Social (LinkedIn, What’s App, Skype) and other communication tools to stay connected. March 10, 2020: On March 10, the Governor of the State of Michigan declared a state of emergency. All Michiganders are encouraged to follow the recommendations from government agencies to protect themselves and slow the spread of COVID-19. FEDCO established a temporary visitor protocol due to the declaration.
